These 5mm flat head bolts secures the bottom plates to the lowest cake stand rod.

All of my cake stands come with a standard bolt and washer which is fine for the majority of plates. These are the most common type of bolts sold with cake stand handle sets. However there are a few plates that have a very small space between the underside of the lowest plate and the table top.

These are brand new stainless steel replicas of the original bolts that were used on vintage plates. These bolts have been custom made specifically for cake stand handles to resolve the occasional problem of the plate with a shallow rim at the bottom.
